Autumn Days at Dairyland

The days are drawing in and the temperature is dipping as we welcome the autumn season. It’s a wonderful time of year here at Dairyland. If you’re treated to an autumnal sunny day, there’s so much to explore. The nature trails are brimming with wildlife, take a stroll around the lake, take a challenge on the assault course and outdoor play areas or enjoy a gentle pony ride.DL - August - 2016-313051735_1176497525715901_4430843321812302256_n

The barns are home to lots of farm animals who love a bit of fuss, help with feeding time, have a cuddle in the pat-a-pet corner and giggle at the resident Meerkats who are always up to mischief. DL Meerkats-6

If the weather turns, just head to the Bull Pen to burn off some energy, do you dare to do the demon drops? The Heritage Museum is full of incredible artefacts from days gone by, get transported back in time as you learn all about how things were done in the ‘olden days’.

Ever wondered how your milk ends up on your cereal in the mornings? Check out the Dairyland working Milking Parlour. Watch the cows come in at milking time and learn all about the amazing process.

What better way to spend an autumn day?
