The Environment and Alternative Energy

Alternative Energy at DairyLand Farm WorldIn our recycle centre you are able to learn different ways in which we can reduce the amount of waste being buried.

The centre is both interesting and educational, some of the things you are able to learn about are: managing waste, how to reduce it and minimising waste.

It plays a key part in School visits as the displays shows the different sorting groups which household rubbish goes into. The children enjoy the centre as they understand the importance of recycling after learning about it as School.

There are many leaflets and facts for people to read that compliment the displays and information around the centre.

Did you know? Cornwall has 900 plus recycling banks and 14 household recycling centres.

We are doing our bit, are you?

SURPRISE SURPRISE!
Matilda one of DairyLand cows gives birth to triplet calves. Neil the headsman had a total surprise one morning to find Matilda had given birth to triplets, named Primrose, Bluebell and Violet.  Triplets are really quite rare, Neil has been a herdsman for nearly forty years had never  had a cow give birth to triplets before.
