Why we love Spring at Dairyland!

Down at Dairyland Farm Park we absolutely adore this time of year and all the fun it brings – new baby animals, spring flowers, bright sunshine and rainy showers – and so much more! Here are our top five springtime delights at Dairyland for all the family:

Rainy Day? Come and Play!

We know that spring showers are a regular occurrence in this lovely part of the world – that’s what keeps everything growing so beautifully after all! And so rainy days don’t have to put a dampener on your day out – life goes on rain or shine here, with plenty of indoor activities for both children and grown-ups alike. There’s the Bull Pen, with indoor play areas including climbing, sliding, jumping, bouncing

Bottle Feeding!

We love the bottle feeding sessions and we know you do too! Where else can you help feed so many different hungry little critters? Twice a day you can get up close and personal with lots of different animals like cows, sheep, goats and others – with our expert farm staff, who can answer your questions and help you have a hands on experience with some of our youngest animals!

Nature Trails!

Have you been on one of our Nature Trails? You can walk, or take a trip on the Lamborghini Hayride down to the lakes, where you can see farm work and conservation working together to look after our environment and all the plants and creatures we share it with. It’s a very peaceful part of Dairyland, and there are fish, herons, egrets and much more to spot – remember to take an activity sheet quiz round with you!

Cornish Farming Moo-seum!

Spring’s a very busy time at Dairyland, and you can often see our amazing modern tractors and other machines hard at work – but have you ever wondered how people used to get things done on the farm without all our new-fangled technology? At our moo-seum, which was first opened in 1975, you can see how farmers of a hundred years ago looked after their animals, made their food and drink, and washed their clothes – all without the use of electricity!

Easter egg-stravaganza!

We’re super excited for Easter holidays – and there so much to be doing when you come down to the Farm Park! With special seasonal activities like crafts, egg-hunts and and games, there’s a lot to be egg-cited about for your visit. You can plan your visit to get the most our of your day – and don’t forget, you can meet our a-moo-sing mascots Boris and Dazy as well!
